Demo
In the trial version, you can wield Zeus' famous lightning bolt while playing
one of the nine civilizations featured in the retail version of Age of
Mythology. Advance through the third age on two random maps, or play through
five scenarios in this demo.
Full Game
The Golden Gift, a new official Age of Mythology campaign produced by Ensemble Studios, follows the
adventures of Brokk and Eitri, two dwarven brothers featured in the original Age
of Mythology Fall of the Trident campaign. This four-scenario campaign follows
the brothers' first encounter with the god Loki and features all-new voice
acting by the original actors.
To install Age of Mythology: The Golden Gift, you must be using Microsoft
Windows® 98, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows 2000, or Windows XP. Age of
Mythology must also be installed prior to installing Age of Mythology: The
Golden Gift.
Note:You will need to install the latest Age of Mythology
update for the campaign to work properly (available for download below).
Localized versions of the mini-campaign will be completed shortly, however, you
can use the English version of the mini-campaign on localized versions of the
game if you like.
To install Age of Mythology: The Golden Gift
- Install the latest Age of Mythology update (available below).
- Download the self-extracting Age of Mythology: The Golden Gift setup
package. Double-click on the .exe.
- The installation menu will appear. Click Install, and then follow the
onscreen prompts.
- Once in the game, The Golden Gift campaign will be listed under the Single
Player Campaign drop down menu.

This manual patch is only necessary if you are having trouble autopatching the game. To check if your version is still 1.09 or before and requires the patch, from the Age of Mythology Main Menu, click More then About Age of Mythology.

Completely customize the Windows user interface to reflect your passion - Age
of Mythology - with this new Age of Mythology WindowBlinds download.
Change your title bars, push buttons, scroll bars, borders, radio buttons,
Start bar, and virtually every other part of Windows. In addition, you can also
change your Windows Media Player skins. Included in this zip file are the
following files:
- aom_windowblinds.exe - This file will install WindowBlinds
- aom_wmp_skin_7.wmz - This file is the Age of Mythology
Windows Media Player 7.0 skin (for Win2K and below)
- aom_wmp_skin_8.wmz - This file is the Age of Mythology
Windows Media Player 8.0 skin (for WinXP)
Once you've downloaded the
zip file, extract the three files to the directory of your choice. Locate and
double click on the aom_windowblinds.exe file. This will install WindowBlinds.
Once you've done that, right click on your desktop, select Properties, select
the Appearance tab, and then select the Age of Mythology styles in the Windows
and Buttons drop-down selection list.
To install the Media Player Skins, simply double click on the appropriate wmz
file (aom_wmp_skin_7.wmz if you are running Windows Media Player 7.0 for Win2K
or below, or aom_wmp_skin_8.wmz if you are running Windows Media Player 8.0 for
WinXP).

The screensaver will download the Eyetide Image Viewer if you do not already
have it installed. Once installed you can add your own screenshots to be
included in the screensaver, and it will automatically update your screensaver
with our new screenshots if you are connected to the Internet! You can also
update your images manually through the Eytide Image Viewer.
Note: Once the viewer is installed just click on the image to start the
screensaver, and you can adjust the settings the same way you would on any other
screensaver:
- Right-click on your desktop
- Click on Properties
- Click on the Screensaver tab
- Click on Settings
We know that building a Web site is no easy task, so if you are interested in
building an Age of Mythology site, or already have one up and running, here are
